Founded in 1987, Portland Harbor Museum is an exciting place to explore and celebrate the rich maritime history of Portland Harbor.

The 510 Congress Street building is in the heart of the central business district, and the city's Arts District. The Portland Museum of Art, the Children's Museum, the Maine College of Art, The Salt Institute, the Maine Historical Society, and the Portland Public Library are within 2 ½ blocks of the new site.
