News from the Gift Shop

The Museum Shop Committee has expanded to include Katrina Rich, Ami Lane, Ellen Askari, Joanne Peterson, Deb Davidson, Nancy Jones and Pat Knittel. With everyone working together, the shop inventory now boosts some very appealing merchandise! Our gift shop is an excellent place to shop for holiday gifts and members should remember that they receive an automatic 10% discount.

Our shopkeepers are the backbone of the whole enterprise. These hard working and friendly folks are always patient with tourist questions and learned to actually LIKE the new cash register. More volunteers will be needed when we reopen in the spring and we heartily welcome new faces.

January is inventory month, which also means removing every single item from the shop so that the thermostat can be drastically lowered during the winter. Shop Committee members take things home to any available heated storage places. It will be all brought back prior to our April opening.
